Dogs take the ramp

Dressed up in their adorable best, as many of 60 dogs of various breeds, did their owners proud as they walked for their homeless friends at a pet-a-thon on Sunday.

A variety of dog breeds including Pugs, Irish setter, Labrador, Golden Retrievers, Boxer, Shihtzu, and other Indian breeds put their best foot forward to raise funds for animal welfare.

Many rescued pups were also adopted on the day.

There were calendars, art auctions, bumper stickers and lot more on sale to raise funds.  The pet-a-thon was initiated by Rotary Bangalore IT Corridor (RBITC) as a precursor to the Bengaluru Midnight Marathon, which is scheduled to be held on December 20.
