<p>A sub-inspector attached to the Chickpet traffic police station has been suspended for permitting parking of vehicles on BVK Iyengar Road where parking is banned. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Hiregowda was found guilty of permitting parking on the stretch in violation of the rules. <br />Based on a complaint, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (traffic-west) S Girish visited the spot on Wednesday and found that the sub-inspector was indeed guilty. <br /><br />Noticing the dereliction of duty by Hiregowda, the DCP recommended his suspension, said the police.<br />DH News Service</p>
