Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore hosted a cookery competition for all its members recently. There were 15 participants from over six clubs who showcased their skills in cooking. The participants, all members of various clubs, came prepared with their special dishes.

Usha Vishwanath,  International Service Officer of the club said that the cookery competition was organised to create a sense of togetherness among the members of various clubs.

“We also had Chef Surjan Singh Jolly from JW Marriot Hotel to judge the competition. We usually have our district officials judging the events but this time we wanted to get somebody professional to give us tips on some professional cooking,” said Usha. She observed that it was an enjoyable experience.

“We got some interesting tips on how to flavour the food and all of us were truly overwhelmed,” she added. The women were impressed with the presence of Surjan Singh Jolly.

Chaitra Manjukumar from the Inner Wheel Club of Mahalakshmipura walked away with the title of ‘Gourmet Queen’.
