Actor Tilak has his hands full. He is a passionate actor, who believes in chasing his dreams and has made a conscious effort to sign some meaningful projects this year.

One of the many projects that he has signed is ‘Octopus’, in which he plays the role of an investigating officer. “The Kannada film industry is open to experimenting with all kinds of subjects and that’s why, we now have a film like ‘Octopus’, which is a science thriller. Movies like this will help Sandalwood come of age,” reasons Tilak.

He plays a cop in two of his upcoming projects and says that he has been working overtime to strengthen his muscles. “I work out to stay fit. A cop’s uniform automatically gives you some kind of power and your body language also changes accordingly,” he states.  In ‘Love on NH4’, Tilak is playing a con man. He states that there are three characters in the film.

“I play the role of a man who believes that money is everything. So I head out to make money but don’t compromise on my ethics to make that extra buck,” he informs.  And Tilak is excited with the kind of offers that are coming his way. “For a change, I haven’t been offered to do a love story.

It gets a little monotonous after a while,” he feels.  He has also signed up to play a prominent character in a horror film. “It’s a spooky film which traces the story of a college student who goes on a vacation and strange things start happening to him. But a twist in the script changes the course of the story. There are no gory scenes and bloodshed. It is a neatly shot film,” observes Tilak.

Tilak’s project ‘Pallavi Talkies’ is ready for release too. The story is based on a real-life incident that took place in the City. “It’s based on a murder that took place a few years ago. Here again, I play a cop but a lot of research has gone into making the facts appear as real as possible,” he reasons.

The New Year is almost here but Tilak says that he is going to be working on New Year’s Eve and confesses that he doesn’t believe in making resolutions. “I don’t believe in resolutions. If there’s something that one wants to do, then that has to be done then and there,” he signs off
