15 IAF test pilots graduate

 Air Marshal P K Barbora, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Air Command, New Delhi presented graduation certificates and trophies to the 12 Test Pilots and three Engineers of the 31st Flight Test Course (FTC).

With the successful completion of their 48-week training, the graduating officers will now be joining a select band of flight test professionals in the country. Certificates were also presented to wives of graduating officers for their role in providing the much needed support to their spouses.

IAF also presented the prestigious ‘Suranjan Das Trophy’ for the Best All Rounder Student Test Pilot to Squadron Leader A Raina, while the Chief of Air Staff Trophy for the Best Student Pilot in Flight Evaluation was bagged by Squadron Leader S A Gadre.

The Hanumanth Singhji Sword for the Best All Rounder Student Flight Test Engineer was awarded to Squadron Leader Ahmed Arsi on the occasion.
