Gowtham shines for Vijaya Bank

 Go-wtham grabbed two wickets and slammed an unbeaten half-century as Vijaya Bank coasted to a 10-wicket win over ASC Centre RC in the KSCA Group II Division I match on Wednesday.

Batting first, ASC were shot out for a paltry 75 in 18.4 overs. Raghavendra scalped three wickets for one run while Gowtham (2/25) and Cariappa KC (2/20) took two wickets apiece.
Gowtham then took the chase all upon himself, slamming an unbeaten 62 as Vijaya Bank scaled down the target in just 8.5 overs.

DTDC Sports Club too celebrated a fine win on the day. They defeated AGORC by 85 runs.
Shoian (68) and KL Shrijith (64) were the leading scorers in their handy 257 all out in the stipulated 50 overs.

Fayaz Ahmed too made  a 43 as DTDC overcame a fine spell from KP Rohan (4-42).
In reply, AGORC never really was in the hunt despite  CB Karthik’s 42 and were bundled out for 172.
