<p>Teenager Twisha K Prasad nailed the gold for Karnataka in the National Games Canoeing and Kayaking competitions in Alapuzha on Monday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The 17-year-old from Bengaluru, competing in the women’s 1000M Kayak-1 category, powered to the gold medal finishing ahead of Rajina Kiro of Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Soniya Devi of MP.<br /><br />Karnataka also won two bronze medals on the day.<br /><br />In the men’s 1000M Kayak-2 class, Pavan Kumar and Ragu Madhu timed 3:43.00 to finish third behind gold medallists Servies (Ramesh Golli/ Ajit Singh) and silver winners Uttarakhand (Atul Kumar/ Sunny Kumar). The other bronze came from the 100M men’s Kayak-4, with Rajamani Kanagaraj, Venkatesh Gundala, Bharath Panneerselvam and Sugandan Govindaraj coming behind Telangana and Services quartets, timing 3:22.00.</p>
