Some of India’s finest artists will be uniting over music to eradicate blindness in India.

‘Sur ‘N’ Symphony’, a fund-raising mega-musical event for the Sankara Eye Care Institution, has an electrifying ensemble of artistes like Shankar Mahadevan, Selva Ganesh, Vidwan Vikku Vinayakram, Niladri Kumar and Taufiq Qureshi.

These versatile and dynamic artistes will tune in tandem to create soulful, mesmerising and astounding music at CounterCulture, on February 21.

The event will appeal to a vast variety of audience as each artist has gone beyond their forte to create music that’s extraordinary in nature. Exchange 4 Artist will be organising the event.

Sankara Eye Care Institution is an NGO that has pledged to prevent and eradicate blindness and thus, conducting free cataract operations across India.
In order to achieve this noble goal, they will set up medical camps in various parts of India and reach out to people suffering from cataract disorders.

Dr SV Balasubramaniam, chairman of Sankara Eye Care Institution says, “Miracles cannot cure the blind, but we can. The amount collected through the show will give people the gift of sight. We are extremely obliged and grateful to each and every artist who has taken time off from their busy schedule for a noble cause as this. Sankara ritually functions on the ‘See-Saw’ phenomenon wherein for every one child treated at Sankara, four are treated for free. This event has given a new lease of life to many who have never felt the warmth of light.”

Exchange 4 Artist has been in the forefront in ideating and executing experiential environments for various corporates in India from more than four years.
They’ve had the unique opportunity to present various renowned maestros who have wowed the audience with their talents on music, backed by cutting-edge technology.

Vishaka Agarwal, business director of Exchange 4 Artist, adds, “It’s a privilege to organise an event of this stature with an incredible line up of such esteemed artists and a cause that’s worth boasting about.”

Donor passes for Sur ‘N’ Symphony will be available at bookmyshow.com for Rs 750 and Rs 1000.
