Forty-seven-year-old Scott Ritter allegedly exchanged sexually explicit online messages with Barrett Township Police Department Detective Ryan Venneman, who was posing as 15-year-old “Emily” from Poconos, Pennsylvania, an affidavit said.
Ritter, according to an affidavit, used the screen name ‘Delmar4fun’, while exchanging sexually explicit messages and allegedly performed an indecent act in front of a webcam.
“During the conversation, ‘Delmar4fun’ was advised that I was a 15-year-old female from Poconos, Pennsylvania. The conversation was sexual in nature. During the conversation, ‘Delmar4fun’ stated that he wanted me to give him another picture so he could continue to ‘react’,” the affidavit read.
He then continued to act indecently on webcam and “he again asked how old I was,” the affidavit stated.
Ritter was arrested on November 9, 2009, on a number of charges, including indecent exposure and unlawful contact with a minor.
