Youth found murdered

An unidentified youth was found murdered in Madanayakanahalli police limits on Thursday. The victim is aged between 25 and 30 years. The police have shifted the body to Victoria Hospital mortuary.

The youth was murdered elsewhere and his body was abandoned on NICE Road in Madanayakanahalli police limits. A few local residents noticed the body near a residential layout in Madavara on Thursday and informed the police.

“The youth had been bludgeoned to death. The assailants had burnt the body to mislead the police and to keep the identity of the victim a secret. They murdered him in some other place and threw the body in Madvara,” said the police.
