A day after Hockey India (HI) missed the deadline to release the voters list, the ministry today brought out a list of authorised representatives of the 64 affliated member states and union territories.
The statement, however, said there is a misrepresentation by Chandigarh, while no name was received from Karnataka.
"Hockey Chandigarh (Names sent Mr. Chander Shekhar & Mrs. K Atma Ram). It has been observed that there has been misrepresentation by Hockey Chandigarh. Chandigarh Olympic Association has sent a letter that they have not recommended any unit from Chandigarh concerning hockey for affiliation," the statement said.

"Returning Officer to take decision on their status," it added.
The statement also said that affiliated units, namely, Services Sports Control Board, Railways Sports Promotion Board, Inter-University Sports Board of India and Air India Sports Division will have voting rights only after amendment of constitution in the AGM.

"They will be entitled for voting rights only after amendment of constitution in the AGM," it said.

Government observer SK Mendiratta today received the full list of electoral college for the February 7 elections from the HI interim president Vidya Stokes. Hockey India was supposed to release the list yesterday.

Earlier, former secretary general Mohammad Aslam had made public the list of units who have been granted recognition by the HI affiliation committee and had accused the body of lack of transparency.
