DPUE delays revaluation results

Last Updated 23 June 2015, 18:42 IST

The Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE) officials are racing against time to announce the still-pending revaluation results of over 590 candidates.

They were supposed to be announced by Tuesday morning but the officials were still completing the process towards that evening.

Speaking to Deccan Herald, DPUE Director Sushama Godbole said, the results will be put up on the DPUE website later on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, the department’s delay in announcing results is cutting too close to the supplementary exams that are scheduled to begin from June 25. “We have directed college principals to allow these students to the supplementary exams based on their admission ticket,” Godbole added.

On the other hand, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the mock allotment results for CET 2015. Officials stated that mock allotment is only an indication of seats and there is no guarantee that candidates will get the same seat in the real allotment. The examinations authority will announce the real allotment results after 5 pm on June 26, a release stated.
