Air Costa flies 1 millionth guest

Regional airline Air Costa on Monday crossed a milestone as it flew its millionth passenger from Bengaluru to Hyderabad.

The Vijayawada-based airline achieved this feat within 18 months of its operation when Hyderabad-based Khanjiram Jitender and his family collected the boarding pass for their flight to their hometown.

“The millionth passenger had flown on flight no. LB 693 of Bengaluru to Hyderabad sector of scheduled departure from Bengaluru at 10.45 am,” a statement said. The passenger was complimented by the airline.  Air Costa CEO K N Babu said the company is excited on achieving the first milestone of flying one million passengers.
