The Magazine with title 'Puram Modi' sponsored by students Union controlled by Students Federation of India of Maharajas Technical Institute here was withheld by the printing press after its management noticed a photo and an article that allegedly showed Modi in a poor light.

"Students came to us with a request to urgently print 300 copies of the college magazine for the year 2014. The article on Modi was noticed when the copies were being packed", owner of the press James said.

"I told them that the copies will not be released as it contained remarks against Modi, who is the Prime Minister of the country", he said.

When contacted, College authorities said that the magazine was brought out by the students on their own as the College had refused permission to the magazine last year itself.
