Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caused a flutter at AP Chief Minister’s residence here as they knocked on his door looking for his son Lokesh’s driver.
The Bureau served notice on Kondal Reddy under CRPC 160 in the cash-for-votes case involving Telangana TDP MLA Revanth Reddy.
Rather than visiting his house directly, ACP investigators showed up at Naidu’s house at Jubilee Hills on Tuesday and quizzed the security personnel on Kondal Reddy.
They went to the NTR Bhavan next door when Naidu’s security men told them Kondal Reddy was not present at the Chief Minister’s accommodation.
Though the state forensic lab confirmed the authenticity of the tapes with Naidu’s voice, investigators still have to question the AP Chief Minister on his role in the cash-for-votes issue in which his party MLA was caught offering bribe to TRS-nominated Elvis Stephenson to vote in TDP’s favour in the MLC elections.
