Miscreants make away with gold chain

Two bike-borne miscreants made away with a gold chain from a woman in Girinagar 3rd Phase on Sunday morning.

According to the police, the victim Sujata, was taking the trash out to a dustbin close to her house, when two persons on a bike snatched away her gold chain weighing 25 grams. This was around 8.45 am. She raised an alarm, but by the time other residents came out, the miscreants had fled the spot.

A case has been registered in the Girinagar police station.
