Prabhakar is given the charge after the Government sent Rajeev Chawla on leave following allegation by the State government Vehicle Drivers’ Association that he harassed one of its members. Chawla is learnt to have been on leave till February 22.
Meanwhile, the State government has transferred senior IFS officer and PCCF (Research and Training) Indu B Srivatsava as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Head of Forest Force).
