The eighth edition of Bengaluru International Arts Festival (BIAF) will begin on September 18. This year’s theme is ‘Celebration of Harmony through Arts’.
Directors of AIM, the organisation behind the festival, Dr Suma Sudhindra and Veena Murthy Vijay, said: “Thought-provoking and well-curated art presentations by artists from both India and abroad will be featured in BIAF 2015.”
With collaborations from various countries like The Netherlands, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Bangladesh, Nepal and Rwanda to perform for Bengaluru audience, many folk groups will be arriving from Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Odisha, Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala and Karnataka.
