The 42nd Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Friday adjourned the hearing in a cheque bounce case filed by Mycon Constructions Ltd against Brindavan Hydro Pvt Ltd till October 30, 2015.
Brindavan Hydro Private Ltd had issued a cheque for Rs 2.8 crore to Mycon Constructions Ltd for completing a civil work it had been entrusted with.
The cheque, dated July 22, 2015, was jointly signed by directors of the company Ajith Sethuram and Raghuraj Gujjar. The cheque bounced on July 24, 2015. Though Mycon Constructions Ltd had served a notice on the other firm, it did not respond.
Subsequently, Mycon approached the court. When the matter came up for hearing on Saturday, the advocate for Brindavan Hydro Pvt Ltd sought adjournment of the hearing as his client was absent.
