Elderly landlord sexually assaults four-year-old girl

He sends her brother out to throw garbage

A four-year-old girl was sexually assaulted allegedly by her 67-year-old landlord at a rented house in south Delhi’s Ambedkar Nagar on Saturday.

The elderly landlord has been booked under Indian Penal Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, and placed under arrested late in the evening.
The incident came to the fore at around 9.30 pm when the girl’s mother returned home after work and the child told her about her ordeal following which she called the police control room (PCR).

A police team reached at the house and the girl was taken to AIIMS for medical examination.

“The girl lives with her parents and brothers at their first floor rented room in Madangir. Her parents are professional beauticians and work at beauty salons in Gurgaon,” said a police officer.

Her parents leave home at around 10 am and return by 9 pm.

On Saturday, the girl’s parents left for their work leaving her and their two sons – aged 9 years and 6 years – back at home. Around 3 pm, the three children were playing in the room when the landlord arrived.

“The landlord asked the elder brother to empty the dustbins into the garbage dump of the locality. As the boy left the room, He allegedly undressed her and touched her private parts. In the meantime, her two brothers returned and the landlord had to leave the room.

“The landlord threatened the girl when she tried to tell her elder brother about the indecent acts,” the officer said. The girl kept quite then, but narrated the entire incident to her mother after she returned from work.

The mother called police and the landlord was apprehended.
