Eight arrested for torching bikes

The Nandini Layout police have arrested eight people for setting bikes on fire. The police have seized an autorickshaw and a knife from the suspects.

The police revealed the names of arrested as Mohammad Imran, 26, a resident of Kanakapura Main Road; Imran Pasha, 27, a resident of Peenya; Mohammad Sagheerulla Khan, 27, a resident of Tannery Road; Arafat Khan, 21, and Naveen, 19, both residents of  Vidyaranyapura; Jaffar Sadique, 23, Baba Fakhrullah, 19 and Numaan, 19, all residents of  Nandini Layout.


Mohammad Imran and Imran Pasha are history-sheeters and have committed various petty crimes in Nandini Layout and Rajarajeshwari Nagar police station limits. 


The duo have not appeared before the court despite several notices, added the police.

The suspects had set on fire four bikes that were parked in front of Syed Pasha’s house on 3rd Main Road, 1st Cross, Nanjundeshwarnagar, added the police.
