Hallimane in Malleswaram is all set to welcome the Bengalureans for the harvest festival of the state ‘Makara Sankranthi’.

On January 15 and 16, Hallimane will offer a delicious, traditional festive menu to its customers. More than 30 traditional dishes will be offered to the customers and all these dishes will be served on a banana leaf.

According to Neelavara Sanjeev Rao, managing director of the Hallimane, ‘Sankranthi’ specials including juices made of sesame seeds, sugar cane,  jaggery, ‘avarekkalu usli’, ‘kosambari’, sweet ‘pongal’, ‘avarekai’ ‘chitranna’ etc will be the speciality.

“We want to make our customers to feel the rich experience of traditional festival lunch through this initiative. Today’s fast life style had made the festival celebrations dull. To bring back old enthusiasm and festive mood we are celebrating this Sankranthi,” he said.

“Festival food items

will be made available in parcel too. Parcels can be ordered between 12 noon and 3 pm and 7.30 pm to 10 pm on both the days,” he said. For details, call 9945761283.
