The joint legislature session will be addressed by Governor Vajubhai Vala at noon on February 29, said Legislative Council Chairman D H Shankaramurthy. The session will conclude on March 5.
Addressing the media, on Friday, Shankaramurthy said the Council secretariat had received as many as 451 questions, 367 of them were starred and 84 unstarred. On Monday, an orientation programme has been organised for the new members of the Council. Former chairpersons B L Shankar and V R Sudarshan will address the new members of the Council and explain to them the importance and the functioning of the House.
