Dubai's impressive tower milestone

Last Updated 03 March 2016, 18:39 IST

One of the tallest buildings under construction in the United Arab Emirates reached a major milestone recently after the luxury real estate developer, Damac Properties, confirmed that its 94-storey Damac Heights tower in Dubai has topped out.

Overlooking the Dubai Marina, the 335 metres long building will add to the impressive list of supertall skyscrapers located in the country once completed.

Including all buildings currently topped out or completed, such as the Burj Khalifa and the under-completion Marina 101 by the Sheffield Holdings, it will be the 15th tallest building in the country.

Damac meanwhile has confirmed that facade work on Damac Heights has reached floor 69. The handover expected to take place at the end of this year.

The building will comprise one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments, plus duplexes and penthouses.

The complex will incorporate five-star amenities that include a temperature-controlled swimming pool, gymnasium, nursery, sauna, steam room and spa facilities.

The top 40 storeys will feature bespoke interior design as well. Niall McLoughlin, senior vice-president of Damac Properties, said that Damac Heights combines its trendy designs and ideal location gives the residents a exceptional experience of overlooking the waterfront in the Emirate.

Each of the luxury apartments, known as Damac Residenze, is fitted out with the latest furnishings from the Fendi Casa collection from Italy and is expected to provide the most stylish living experience.
