Belagavi Rural MLA Sanjay Patil has obtained interim injunction restraining media from dragging his name in connection with the murder of a woman by name Rakshita in Mysuru recently.
A G Mulwadmath, counsel for Sanjay Patil, told reporters here on Tuesday that the MLA had filed a suit in the court of Second Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division) Belagavi and court gave interim injunction preventing media from dragging his name in the murder case.
He said, the court was apprised that Patil wasn’t an accused in the case and his name was being dragged unnecessarily into the controversy.
