Usha Kadur TP President

The post was vacant following the resignation of P M Kariyappa. The election was held    on Thursday at the Taluk Panchayat hall in presence of Taluk PanchayatExecutive Officer Anjana Kumar.

Congress stronghold

Kadur Taluk Panchayat is under the strong hold of Congress and all the members unanimously voted for Usha. She represents Kunkanadu constituency.

Speaking to presspersons, she said that she will take up developmental works after collecting opinion of all the members. Former presidents Revannaiah, Semashekar,       Chandramauli and others were present on the occasion.
