The bright side of life

Pantaloons believes in creating designs that reflect the character of the modern woman who is bold, confident and vibrant. The brand’s latest women’s Western ‘Spring-Summer Collection’ has been crafted keeping all these aspects in mind. The line is bright, snazzy and high on style.

A burst of colours

The summer collection is mix from Pantaloons own exclusive brands such as Honey, Candie’s, Ajile, Izabel London, Bare Denim, Annabelle and SF Jeans. Each of these brands narrate a story drawing inspiration from across the globe. “The inspiration for the casuals is derived from Europe, parts of Morocco and the South of France. While the Bohemian-influenced prints are playful, the formal wear is inspired by the 1970s vintage look and the denim line is trendy and chic,” says Shital Mehta, CEO Pantaloons, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited.

Shital says the designers have always strived to offer contemporary western wear that map international trends with Indian consumer sensibilities at best prices.

“We work towards offering the trendiest international cuts, silhouettes and fits to suit all body types. Tunics and dresses are popular with women of all age groups, followed by denims, T-shirts and leggings,” she adds. The line is designed in bold and bright colours such as whites, bold yellows and vivid pinks, says Shital.

The brand also lays importance to the kind of fabric they choose to work on. “The feel of the garment is of utmost importance to women, when it comes to choosing an outfit for themselves. Thus, fabrics which offer the perfect fit and drape are the preferred pick. Fabric is also synonymous with quality, and hence we focus on those that are comfortable, fluid, lightweight and stylish,” he adds.

There are a range of dresses and tunics in all colours, shapes and sizes. “There are dresses in various lengths that can be worn to work or even an evening out. The tunics have moved on from being basic and conservative to one of the trendiest silhouettes. They come in an assortment of colours and prints in varying lengths. Denims come in different fits such as ultra-light and high stretch denims, with an emphasis on comfort. This also includes capris, anklers and full-length denims,” he adds.

Accessories play an important role in enhancing the look of any garment, says Shital. He says the brand offers a host of accessories such as footwear, bags, earrings and neckpieces that gel with just about any kind of outfit.
