The Employes Provident Funds Organisation has planned a series of measures to sensitise garment factory workers on provisions of the Provident Fund rules to clarify their doubts.
“There is some misconception among the workers and we have decided to sensitise them from Wednesday itself,” Amardeep Mishra, Regional PF Commissioner-III told Deccan Herald.
“We will organise a series meetings in factories with large number of workers. I will address them personally. My team of officers and assistant commissioners, union leaders and management representatives will be present at the workshop,” he said.
It has already been announced that the notification issued on February 10 will not be implemented.
