<p>With the demand for a dalit leader to become chief minister increasing in the Congress, an association to support former minister Motamma has come into existence.<br /><br /></p>.<p>At a function in Bengaluru, the association named as Akhila Karnataka Motamma Abhimanigala Sangha, was formally inaugurated on Thursday. Interestingly, no senior Congress leader except former chief minister S M Krishna turned up at the programme. Names of a host of Congress leaders were printed on the invite.<br /><br />Krishna, recalling the services of Motamma as women and child development minister, said she had brought in significant changes through Stree Shakti groups. Former legislator B A Hasanabba was also present.</p>
