All-round Yadavan wins it for Vijaya CC

 Sonu Yadavan produced an all-round show to propel Vijaya CC to a seven-wicket win over Vultures CC in the under-17 Tiger Cup cricket tournament at the Global Academy of Technology Ground here on Sunday.

Riding on half-centuries from Muni Mehdi (87) and Nachiketh (57), Vultures CC posted a competitive 216 for four in 27 overs. Sonu (2/30) and Ravi (2/49) picked two wickets each for Vijaya CC.

In reply, Sonu slammed an unbeaten 131 as Vijaya CC overhauled the target in just 24.4 overs.

In other tie of the day, Aryaman (69 n.o.) and Shoban (50) hit half-centuries for Neptune CC as they recorded a comfortable eight-wicket win over Baldwin Boy’s School.
