Abhishek Bachchan, who was last seen in ‘All Is Well’, is all set with his upcoming movie ‘Housefull 3’ which also stars Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh. This is the first time the actor is featuring in Housefull franchise and is quite excited about the film and his co-stars.

“It was a pleasure to work with my co-actors. Besides all the hard work, ‘Housefull 3’ was a lot of fun,” the actor told ‘Metrolife’. The third installment of the comedy franchise which features an ensemble cast is set to release on June 3.

The storyline revolves around Boman Irani’s three daughters — Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and Lisa Hayden — who are wooed by Kumar, Bachchan and Deshmukh respectively.

Revealing more about his character, Junior Bachchan quipped, “I play the character of Bunty. He is a cool dude and the look is completely different. It’s obviously under wraps but the trailer is revealing enough to make it a promising movie to watch out for.”

Bachchan, who has earlier worked with the ‘Housefull 3’ director Sajid-Farhad in Bol Bachchan confesses that he was “nervous” about the project. “Both Sajid-Farhad and Sajid (Nadiadwala) wanted me to do the film and spoke to me about it. When you are working on a franchise which is so successful, you can’t let down the fans. I was nervous and so I worked very hard.” The actor further said that he likes exploring various genres.

Meanwhile, commenting on his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s recent outing ‘Sarbjit’, the 40-year-old actor said he feels proud of her.
