The CCB police have arrested two persons from Malleswaram while they were trying to sell fake stamp papers.
The arrested have been identified as Narayan and Kumar. Police have seized blank fake stamp papers and recovered Rs 28,000 in cash. “The duo used to print fake stamp papers using which they created sale deeds and general power of attorney (GPA), dating back to 30-40 years. in respect of various houses and lands. Later, they used to sell the properties to people for a huge sum,” police said.
