<p>Police have arrested a 37-year-old man in a cheating case and recovered Rs 2 lakh in cash, a refrigerator and washing machine from him.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Bobby Philip, 37, a resident of Kadugodi, had posted an advertisement on OLX to sell his old car. Vikram Agarwal, a private firm employee, saw the advertisement and contacted Philip.<br /><br />Agarwal took the car on test drive and appeared satisfied with its condition. He offered to buy the car. Philip demanded Rs 3 lakh upfront. Agarwal agreed and deposited the money in Philip’s account. But once he got the money, Philip switched off his cellphone and absconded.<br /><br />Agarwal approached the police who arrested Philip later. Philip hails from Kerala and had moved to Benglauru four years ago for employment, police said.</p>
