<p>Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will flag off the new buses purchased by the KSRTC (Karnataka Road Transport Corporation), intending to operate them as city service in districts, on Thursday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The new 637 buses will be equipped with rearview cameras, panic button for drivers to use in case of emergency, CCTV cameras, ramp facility for the physically challenged, among others.<br /><br />Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy will take part in the formal programme, to be held in front of Vidhana Soudha.<br /> The chief minister will also lay a foundation stone for several development works, including the new bus terminal to be constructed at Kalasipalya at a cost of Rs 60 crore, BMTC’s new bus depot in Anjanapura and employees’ quarters at Gunjur. </p>
