As Indiranagar continues to keep introducing new places every other day, one has to be in constant touch with what’s new and take their creativity to new heights.

That is exactly what this resto-bar situated on 100ft road does. The place is not very big but definitely gives you a ‘wow’ feeling as soon you enter because of its compact and neat design.

The name, G77, is unique and has an interesting origin. The G denotes the first letter of their owner  Gaurav Shetty and 77 denotes his favourite number. The interiors strike you as soon as you enter. The walls of the café are adorned with figurines and this gives a rustic look to it.

Coming to the food, they have a huge list of starters to choose from. ‘The Melting Pot’ is a signature dish with pani puri shells served with a subtle hint of veggies or chicken, accentuated with luscious cheese and served in a merry-go-round shaped serving dish. Their chicken piri-piri, which is tender chicken tossed in piri piri sauce, is also a must try. It is served on a ‘Thela’. If you are a sea-food lover, the ‘Butter garlic pepper prawn’ is a definite try which is a combination of King prawns cooked and served in clarified butter, pepper and garlic sauce. The succulent dish is served on a ‘Tharpai’.

They also have pastas, pizzas and ‘Donne Biriyani’ which is one of their special dishes. When it comes to vegetarian items on the menu, the main course options are quite less and will come as a disappointment to the vegetarians.

The dessert options in the restaurant are minimal too but these are exceptionally tasty with Elaneer payasam being their best. It is a combination of coconut cream and the pulp of tender coconut.

In terms of creativity, G77 gets a thumbs up for their food and drinks.  Their ‘Tower of Love’ is a concoction served in a  glass shaped like the Eiffel Tower.

The mocktails include ‘Pink Mountain’, a mix of fresh pineapple juice, orange juice, red fruit and vanilla ice-cream. A lot of the syrups used in cocktails and mocktails are handcrafted by the staff of G77.

This place is a must try if you are looking for a perfect evening with different cocktails and some really good finger food  and nice music. If you are one to appreciate presentation and good ambience, this is the best place to head to.
