Rider dies as bike hits divider

 A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed on the spot after hitting a road divider at Yogesh Nagar near Hebbal on Friday night. The deceased is Syed Pasha (21), a resident of DJ Halli.

Pasha’s friend Mohammad Javid was riding pillion and was injured in the accident. He is being treated at a private hospital and is said to be out of danger, said the police. Pasha and Javid were heading to their friend’s house around 8 pm.

Pasha lost control over the bike when he attempted to overtake a car. He crashed into a divider, fell down and sustained severe head injuries. The duo was rushed to a private hospital nearby. Pasha succumbed to his injuries around 10 pm, said the police.
