<p>The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs on Wednesday approved nine rail connectivity projects, which will cost over Rs 24,000 crore, covering nine states.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The projects involve track construction of about 1,937 km, said a government release.<br />The nine projects include the 176-km-long construction of the second railway line between New Bongaigaon and Kamakhya, the 132-km-long third line between Kharagpur (Nimpura) and Adityapur (Jharkhand) among others.</p>
