The Principal of BCWCC, Dr Joyce Sunder, welcomed the gathering and spoke about the importance of the 100th International Women’s Day. She emphasised on gender justice and women’s liberation.
A solo-play called Just a Woman was staged by the well-known theatre and television personality, Lakshmi Chandrashekar. Lakshmi depicted the different forms of mental stress that women go through silently in their lives through various characters of traditional and modern era, with the conclusion that women have to make the right choice towards
liberation.
