Though namma boys finally had their way in the match played on Tuesday, the Kings XI Punjab players set the stage on fire as they hit one six after another, earlier in the game. And  the secret behind the fire in their belly is their co-owner, Bollywood's Preity Zinta, who cheered and yelled out as her boys let lose their skills.

Metrolife managed to share a few moments with Preity, who had flown down from Mumbai just to cheer on her boys and was rooting for her team from the dugout. “The IPL has kept me away from the big screen but I do have a couple of films lined up for which I will start working soon after the matches are over,” the effervescent star said.
Giving a go ahead for film projects has become rather difficult for this cricket buff who has dedicated her time and resources in strengthening her team. “Travelling and promotions for my team have made it difficult for me to shoot. I would like to devote undivided attention towards the team and shoot after all the hungama settles down,” she remarked even as she turned around to cheer a six that had been hit. “My team is batting well and I am looking forward to lifting the trophy,” she said.

Preity also holds immense admiration for Kumble, the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore. “Kumble is such a good captain. He’s so calm and composed and gels well with the team,” she gushed. She feels that IPL has ushered in a new audience. Preity will soon be seen in Har Pal in Hindi, “just wait and watch I don’t want to say more,” she reasoned.
Preity said that she’s emotionally attached to Bangalore. “This is one City where I wanted to settle down in. I used to live here as a child in the 80s. Even today when I come to the City, vivid memories of my childhood here come flooding back,” she summed up and rushed off to be with her team.
