Replying to a question by Amaregowda Baiyyapur (JD-S), the minister said the Government was aware of irregularities in the works taken up through gram panchayats and will initiate disciplinary action against the erring officials.
He said during the current year Rs 2,129.19 crore has been utilised under the scheme and the Centre has sanctioned Rs 2,401.48 crore.
