Man stabbed to death in Ulsoor

Victim Anwar Pasha had returned to the City after a long stay in Qatar. He was staying with his sister Salma on Kaliyamman Koil Street, since his marriage was strained.

Heated argument

On Thursday Anwar's brother-in-law Siraj had come to Salma’s house for dinner. Siraj advised Anwar to patch up with his sister Zabina. As the talk grew bitter Siraj is alleged to have stabbed Anwar with a knife, in a fit of anger.

Anwar who sustained multiple injuries on his chest, neck and stomach, succumbed at Bowring Hospital.Shocked by the turn of events Salma, an eye witness, informed the police. The police later arrested Siraj and Zabina.
