The Adugodi police are investigating the case in which two bike-borne miscreants intercepted a college girl near Dairy Circle and slashed her forearm with a sharp object on Monday. The incident occurred around 8.30 am when the girl was on her way to college, police said.
The girl claimed that the two men accosted her and asked what her father’s name was, but she did not respond. The duo threatened the girl, saying they would neither spare her nor her father. One of them slashed her forearm and they sped away. “We are verifying CCTV footage to identify the attackers. Going by the changing statements of the victim, we have our own doubts about the attack,” a police officer said.
