Last Updated 02 February 2017, 20:21 IST
Robbers broke open the windshield of a CBI staffer’s car and took away a bag containing cash and debit/credit cards. The incident took place on January 26 but came to light only on Thursday.

Chaithra Ranganath, a stenographer at the CBI office on Ballari Road, north Bengaluru, had parked the car on the roadside outside her workplace. When she came out of the office around 10 am to leave for home, she found the windshield broken and a bag missing. The bag contained debit and credit cards besides Rs 10,000 in cash. She went to the Sanjaynagar police station and made a complaint.

Police have opened a case but said they were yet to find any clues. There are no CCTV cameras near the place where the car was parked. Police are looking into the footage of surveillance cameras nearby.
