An RTI query has revealed that over 100 students of government medical colleges in Ahmedabad had been given admissions to post graduate courses despite having failed in the entrance examinations.
According to information available, entrance test for admissions to 300 seats in post graduate medical colleges affiliated with Gujarat University were conducted in 2015. As many as 900 students appeared for 300 seats in B J Medical College and NHL college, with only 200 making it through.
