KSRTC special buses to clear extra rush

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will operate around 450 extra buses to clear extra rush in the wake of Basava Jayanti and May Day.

The additional buses will ply to Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapur, Sringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppal, Yadgir, Bidar, Tirupati, Pavagad, Hosadurga and other places. They will leave from Kempegowda Bus Station.

Special buses from Mysuru Road bus station will be exclusively operated towards Mysuru, Hunsur, Piriyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalnagar and Madikeri. All premier special buses to Madurai, Kumbakonam, Trichy, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, and other places in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh will operate from Shanthinagar BMTC bus stand. Passengers can book their tickets in advance for these buses by logging on to www.ksrtc.in.

A discount of 5% on the fare will be extended, if four or more passengers book tickets on a single ticket and a discount of 10% is offered on the return journey tickets if tickets are booked for to and fro journey.
