Prajwal, Vardhan star in DUCC win

 Half-centuries from Prajwal KS and Keerthi Vardhan powered DUCC to a commanding 54-run victory over Bangalore Occasionals in an U-14 Tiger Cup game here.

Keerthi top scored with 87 while Prajwal made 69 as DUCC posted a mammoth 244 for six in 30 overs.
The target proved too much for Occasionals and they were restricted to 190 for seven. Harish Raju, with a 50, was the lone bright spot in their batting effort.  For the winners, Karan returned figures of two for 37.

Meanwhile, Abhirudh (72) and Sai Kushal (68) struck half-centuries each as Engrades CC registered a six-wicket win over Hammonds. In the under-12 category, BUCC ‘B’, riding on Dhruv’s 55, beat Modern CC by 47 runs.
