With uncertainity looms large over the merger between the two AIADMK warring factions in Tamil Nadu, chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami's group on Friday extended fresh invitation to the rebel team led by O Panneerselvam for re-union talks.

Edappadi's group committee member Municipal administration minister S P Velumani said all the issues will be solved only if Panneerselvam's group come for the talks.

"They (Panneerselvam's faction) are our brothers. We are ready for talks. Each and every issue could be solved only if they come, sit and discuss with us", Velumani said.

The latest invitation from the Velumani assumes significance since Edappadi Palaniswami recently asserted that his faction was ready only for unconditional talks.

Countering Palaniswami's statement, Panneerselvam said that talks will be held only Edappadi faction considers the demand of removing jailed V K Sasikala and her nephew TTV Dinakaran, who is also in the prison, from the party officially and intiating CBI probe into the "mysterious" death of former late chief minister J Jayalalithaa.

Meanwhile, Panneerselvam started his state-wide tour from Kancheepuram district to know the opinion of party cadres with regard to merger talks with Edappadi group.
