CM tells BBMP to fill potholes

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, after saying nothing unusual about the tree fall during the pre-monsoon showers, has now instructed the BBMP to fill potholes to prevent inconvenience to the public during the coming monsoon.

He was speaking to reporters here on Sunday. He said a direction to make Benglauru roads pothole-free has been given to the BBMP commissioner and the mayor.

Siddaramaiah said good rain is expected in the monsoon. Pre-monsoon showers have brought relief to farmers who were distressed due to hydrological drought. Officials have taken all precautionary measures where heavy rains are expected, he added.
