Craving something sweet like a crunchy platter of waffles with fruit or one loaded with gems and ice cream?

The ‘Waffle Stories’ is the perfect stop with its unique, sweet satiating bites that come loaded with varied toppings, according to one’s fancy.

From options like ‘Maple Delight’ and ‘Strawberry Delight’ to ‘Just Caramel’ and ‘Mocha’, the eatery has umpteen choices to satisfy all palates. The menu has a number of unique sections like ‘Fruit Full’, which comes with fruits like kiwi, banana and mixed berries, and waffles like ‘Gems Magic’, ‘Snicker Kicker’ and ‘KitKat Waffle’ in the ‘Chocolate Love’ section.

The place got its name for its sole purpose of providing ‘special waffle moments or stories’ to all its customers, says the owner Divya Jagadesh. Divya, who co-owns the space with partner Pranitha Badrinath, started the place as she missed having waffles after her stay in the Philippines.

“Waffles weren’t available back then in Bengaluru and I wanted to start something which would help create great personal experiences for everyone. I wanted people to make their own stories with waffles. I know people who recollect having their first date with us — this is exactly what we want,” she says.

The most popular waffles here are ‘Nutella’, ‘Choco Blast’ and ‘Brownie Sundae’, which are a hit among youngsters. The place is usually frequented by people in their 20s and 30s as well as college students.
“We also have some elderly people visiting us for our ‘Fruit Exotica’ that has fruits and honey in it,” says Divya.

With an option to create one’s own waffle combinations, ‘Waffle Stories’ has two waffle types that one can choose from — plain and chocochip.
This can be mixed and matched with a variety of toppings, sauces and other add-ons.

“We don’t restrict combinations and we also have combo packs wherein customers can choose their beverage and waffle,” details Divya.

Ask her about what makes the concept different from other waffle places in the
city and pat comes her reply, “Apart from our flexible format, we also serve eggless waffles for those customers who are always apprehensive about digging into waffles.”

For those who want to sip on a beverage while enjoying a waffle platter, there is the ‘Caramel hot chocolate’ and ‘Caramel mocha’, which are distinct in flavour.

Apart from that, there is the regular ‘Cappuccino’, ‘Latte’ and ‘Cold coffee’.
