The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday granted anticipatory bail to IAS officer Gangaram Baderiya who is being probed in connection with the Janthakal mining case.
Justice Rathnakala granted the bail and directed Baderiya not to leave the city and cooperate with the investigation agencies without destroying any evidence against him.
Baderiya was arrested in the month March by the SIT for granting licence to Janthakal Enterprises which was involved in illegal mining in the forest area of Chitradurga district.
